February’s winner of Hakki Pilke User of the Month is Lauri Holopainen from Jäppilä, Finland. Lauri has 2007 manufactured Expert 25, which he has equipped with many things such as HakkiLift log lifter and extended outfeed conveyor, aluminium tool box and led lighting for night shifts and dark Finnish winter. He says that even though old he’s processor it’s the fastest in the market with its 2 splitting pistons. He usually makes around 4-6 1000L bags in an hour. Thanks for participation Lauri. January Hakki Pilke User of the Month is Niko Kotikulma from Karstula, Finland. Their family owns over 20-year-old circular blade equipped Hakki Pilke OH60 (newer models are called OH27). He mentions with strong central Finnish dialect that it’s a damn fast processor and they’ve made thousands of cubics of firewood since 1997. They had it since new and never had any major issues with quality other than normal wear out. Congrats Niko!

October Hakki Pilke User of the Month comes from Australia!

Keith Ashby from Encounter Bay, South Australia, bought his Easy 42 in 2015 and has been since processing firewood at eucalyptus plantations. He’s especially happy with the sturdy HakkiFeed 472 log table and fast cutting that are both required for smooth and efficient processing of eucalyptus. His machine also has one of the early prototype versions of automatic infeeding (moves in next log automatically when splitting starts) that is installed as standard to all Easy 43 firewood processors sold today.

Australia is one of the oldest export markets for Hakki Pilke firewood processors. Old models 2x30, 1x37 and 1x42 have been cutting the toughest Aussie Eucalyptus already since mid 1990s. Congrats for Keith for winning the Hakki Pilke jacket!
