    1. Low operating costs and good resale value<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The purchase price of electric and combi-powered clippers is often higher than that of tractor-powered clippers. In this case, however, the higher purchase price also means better resale value. Especially for combi-powered clippers, the resale value is very good, as they are suitable for both tractor-powered and electric clippers.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Generally speaking, the use of electricity is cost-effective. Especially in countries where the price of electricity is low, the operating costs of electric and combi-driven clippers are cheaper than those of tractor-driven clippers. The operating costs of an electric-powered machine are also easily predictable. Electricity is therefore generally a very cost-effective power source for a clippers. As a rule of thumb in Finland, all costs with an electric machine are approximately \u20ac1 per mowing stroke, or 1 cubic meter of turf. With a tractor, the price, at current costs, is even doubled or tripled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
