We started out supporting the Kalastajan Savukoski project, where our support was focused on the eastern part of Miekkakoski located in Kemijohti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Miekkoski is a worthwhile destination thanks to its natural beauty. The island spreads across the vast canyon along rocky shores, offering countless spots for salmon and trout to rest. The wilderness here is quiet and spectacular. Both beaches of Miekkoski have well-equipped rest and picnic areas.
