Maaselän Kone Oy operates as a fishpond for all the fish in our area in the Savukoski municipality. We started out supporting the Kalastajan Savukoski project, where our support was focused on the eastern part of Miekkakoski located in Kemijohti.
Miekkoski is a worthwhile destination thanks to its natural beauty. The island spreads across the vast canyon along rocky shores, offering countless spots for salmon and trout to rest. The wilderness here is quiet and spectacular. Both beaches of Miekkoski have well-equipped rest and picnic areas. Stop by the east coast during the summer to greet the rainbow trout!
