May's Hakki Pilke User of the Month is Brent Wilton from New South Wales, Australia.
Before Brent bought a Hakki Pilke machine, he made firewood manually with a powerful, self-built log splitter. He mentioned that after reorganizing his firewood operation around the new Easy 50, making firewood became much faster and easier.
His firewood processor and power pack now stand on a concrete slab. He dug a pit for his firewood truck so it would be easy to load and to move between the processing and drying areas. The log table is set up for easy loading by Caterpillar, and the sawdust is collected via a chute. Brent processes four truckloads a day and dries the finished product in the hot Australian sun until delivery. He mostly processes hardwood eucalyptus species such as silvertop ash, stringybark, and ironbark.
Congratulations Brent! We are sending you a Hakki Pilke product package to help you get through the windy Australian winter.
