Elmia Wood 2022 opened the Nordic forestry exhibitions in a relaxed atmosphere. The demand for log splitters is currently high, and this was also visible at this exhibition. In addition to log splitters, many small forestry machines were on display.

The 55 Pro was presented in the Hakki Pilke booth as a new product, which attracted a lot of interest. This was the first time the 55 Pro has been presented at a Nordic trade fair. You can see this wood processing plant next time at FinnMETKO in September.

The Hakki Pilke department was very busy, and we had the opportunity to chat with several old customers who were considering updating the machine.

Local professional Stig-Joel Karlssoni also considered upgrading his 2X and Easy37 folding machines. At the trade shows, he ended up buying the 43 Pro because of its speed and larger diameter. He plans to upgrade another machine as well, after testing the 43 Pro folding machine first.

Many Hakki Pilke Easy 37 customers also came to see the newer models. In general, they have been very satisfied with the Hakki Pilke machine and especially with the minimal maintenance required.

”I make about 200 m3 of firewood each year, and the machine has been working very well. I only need to service the machine rarely, and overall we are very satisfied with the machine.”.

The advantage was also seen in the ease of use of the machine, as anyone can use it; this makes it possible for the whole family to make firewood. The new models were particularly appealing for the lack of tie-down straps and the safety of the machines.

”We have the Easy 37 on the beam table, which is now 8 years old. The machine is really easy to use, and my family members also use it to cut wood. The safety of the machine is also good. I still plan to buy a new machine, as there are no safety straps in them, which further reduces maintenance requirements.”.
