The October Firewood Producer of the Month comes from Australia! Keith Ashby lives in Encounter Bay, South Australia. He bought an Easy 42 firewood processor in 2015 and has been producing firewood on eucalyptus plantations ever since. He is particularly satisfied with the sturdy HakkiFeed 472 log feed table and the fast cutting, both of which are required for the efficient processing of eucalyptus wood. Keith’s machine is also one of the early prototype versions with automatic feeding (the machine automatically feeds the log into the cutting phase when splitting begins). The automatic feed assistant is now a standard feature in all Easy 43 firewood processors sold.
Australia is one of the oldest export markets for Hakki Pilke firewood processors. Older models, such as the 2X30, 1X37, and 1X42, have been splitting the hardest Australian eucalyptus since the mid-90s. Congratulations Keith! As a prize, a new Hakki Pilke jacket is on its way.
